Women join The Woman’s Club of Brielle to be part of an ongoing respected philanthropic organization with 7,500 members in New Jersey. Members are involved in local, state and international affiliations within GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs). The New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC) gives women the opportunity to expand their horizons by working together toward a common goal and achieving individual growth.
General Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month September through May at the Curtis House, 644 Union Lane, Brielle, New Jersey. A light lunch is served at noon and the meeting starts at 1:00 p.m.
Membership is open to all women, ages 18 and up. Women wishing to join The Woman’s Club of Brielle should attend two general meetings and be interested in the purpose of our organization. Upon acceptance of your application, a new member becomes a voting member who is also responsible for paying $50.00 annual dues and fulfilling membership obligations. Once becoming a member, the membership committee provides written materials including a booklet filled with our objectives,
by-laws, club handbook, a list of committees, membership list and a personalized name tag worn by members at our monthly meetings.
If you are interested in charitable work, contributing to your community, meeting new friends and would like to be a guest at one of our meetings, please fill out the contact form below. Membership Chair Joan Leavitt or Co Chair Mary Jane Crecca will contact you shortly.
